Apply for a British visa

The visas required to enter the United Kingdom vary depending on the purpose of your visit and the length of time you wish to stay. In general, citizens of countries that are not members of the EU, EFTA or the EEA require a visa to enter the United Kingdom.

If you wish to visit the United Kingdom as a tourist, you can apply for a tourist visa, which can last for up to six months. If you wish to work or study in the United Kingdom, you will need a different work or study visa.

If you are under 18 and wish to visit the United Kingdom on your own, you will need a special visa arranged by your parents or guardians.
